A Touch of Color

It seems Hong Kong never has seasons. Its humid, 75% of the time, or cold 25% of the other. Although seasons don't seem to change much, clothes do. This summer its all about a hint of color. I will admit I rarely ever where color (my closet is a mesh of greys, blacks, and beiges) however I just might come around to the prospect. In the spirit of all things summer I looked back at the RTW S/S '10 collections, it appears designers such Bottega Veneta and Jill Stuart have adapted for just that hint of color. For all you non-color-wearers out there, this might be a helpful transition to a brighter wardrobe.
Bottega Veneta S/S '10 RTW
I loved Bottege Veneta's S/S collection. The clothes were simple yet daring with the bright array of colors here and there. It seems its really all in the accessories- I'm loving the bag and scarf.

Proenza Schouler S/S '10 RTW
This Proneza Schouler collection was especially colorful, with its neon dresses and colorful prints (the prints looked quite like Alexander McQueen's S/S '10 collection) but there were a few looks here and there that did retain that little burst of color, no matter how subtle.
